Hi there. My name's Justin, if you haven't figured that out already. My last name is pronounced "vay-koh." It's apparently of Hungarian origin, or so I've been told.
I work on design projects mostly centered around websites for SMB and enterprise clients alike, especially in healthcare. I have a bit of experience with some early-stage app design projects as well.
I'm multi-disciplined. That means other projects I enjoy working on include presentation design, brand identity design, and packaging design. You can see these scattered about in my work.
I love working with copywriters. I'm actually a fairly decent copywriter myself. I cut my teeth on sales copy when I wrote all of the fundraising communications for a multi-million non-profit for almost 6 years. So I know how design and story flow together. This makes me especially useful when you hire me for web design projects.
My approach to design is user-centric. I put myself in the shoes of my users or viewers and ask myself all the time: is this attracting them? Is this getting them where they want to be?
I live in Chippewa Falls, WI with my three kids and my beautiful wife in our first home. Have any tips for home maintenance? I'd love to hear 'em.
